COLU is a project born in the midst of teenage struggle and adversity. Facing a number of challenges on the home-front as a maturing adolescent, James began to scripture his emotion into song. COLU glides across and gels a number of different genres including indie pop, drill, dark rnb and rap. This mixed bag of sounds is a reflection of the many different emotional aspects of COLU. Dark, aggressive, vulnerable and melancholic.
