I thought I'd kill some time whilst Melbourne is in Stage 4 Lockdown and write some tunes under my dad's old nickname when he was playing in bands 'Conn.' I met a girl at Splendour in the Grass 2019 who lives in QLD and haven't been able to stop seeing her since. 'Through The Night' is about the struggles of a long distance relationship when I pandemic obliterates any hope of seeing each other for months on end. At the same time it's also about being thankful that not seeing each other is our only real issue, unlike some other people and families who are doing it a lot tougher at the moment.
