The quartet Convulsif explores the tension between composition and improvisation by creating powerful, genre-defying sounds. With its unusual combination of instruments, the band fuses doom, dark jazz, black metal and noise to create a dense, experimental blend shaped by conceptual improvisation, imposed structures and the raw energy of the contemporary rock underground.
