There's a new kid in the Capital. They're dreamy, indie-folkies with a sunny disposition, powered by razor-edged strings, soaring cello, and crisp percussion, seasoned with a touch of acoustic twang. Think banjolele meets electric slide uke. With a growing repertoire of original songs rich in melody, harmony & storytelling, this coolective stands devoid of empty calories or acoustic wallpaper. ‘See the Scene’ is Coolibah Coolective’s second album. A distinctive blending of folk, indie and jazz. The title track ‘See the Scene’ is a dreamy, atmospheric build of soaring cello and verby guitar hooks inspired by some guy renovating a French ruin. ‘See the Scene’ released on 21 November 2025 on CD and digital worldwide via Ditto Music. The latest single 'Wild Things' released July 2026, has a post-punk diving feel with magnificent cello and rhythm section energy.
