Corduroy Boy, real-name Ben Gibson, is a multi-instrumentalist and producer who has played and written music in various forms for over a decade. Embarking on a new project, Corduroy Boy sees him embrace experimentation while pushing his sound design and song writing skills to new levels. Drawing influence from avant-garde musicians such as Shlohmo, Nine Inch Nails and Tycho, the music of Corduroy Boy is a blend of electronic production and live instrumentation, all with a heavy dose of distortion and washed out reverb. In his own words “making synths sound like guitars and guitars sounds like synths”.
