Hailing from the beaches of Newcastle, Cosmic Therapy is an experimental solo project by Simon O'Brien. After the demise of the popular local band 'Throbbin' Wood', O'Brien searched for a new direction in song making... project 'Cosmic Therapy' was in motion. With university finished for the 2010 year and sporting too little coin to travel overseas, O'Brien bought an inexpensive Korg R3 synthesizer and began experimenting. With a sore brain from law studies, and many summer days ahead, the synthesizer became a creative and expressive outlet. Before too long, Cosmic Therapy rose from the dust and took on a life of its own... Cosmic Therapy plays out an arduous battle between electro and rock music.
