Cosmic Vibrations is a 4-piece jangle pop, psych rock outfit from The Hills District, New South Wales, Australia. Lead singer, Joshua Span started the project as a solo artist in early 2014 using FL Studio in his bedroom to create dreamy, jazzy tunes and has been releasing and re-writing songs ever since. The “bedroom demos”, whilst still being a solo project, got a single hearty review by a French music blogger who coined the genre as ‘martian pop’, and that term grew on the group and they have decided to call their style by that term. The “bedroom demos” are now brought to the studio with the band, with the the first release “Baby Blue”.
