Ryan Houston has been writing electronic music since 2007, with no intent on stopping anytime soon. Born and raised in Perth, Western Australia, Ryan takes inspiration from the land itself when creating new tracks for Cosmography, trying to capture an essence of the rolling beaches, vast deserts, and the shimmering night sky visible from the WA countryside. Cosmography is the new musical project from artist Ryan Houston, founder of Mountain Arcade. Cosmography aims to shift the focus away from the house influences of Mountain Arcade and create a new, unpredictable sound, bouncing back and forth between acoustic jazz influenced grooves, and soaring, atmospheric, electronic orchestras.
