street angel ...lonely, depressed and lamenting the imminent break up of my previous band 'the new', i shut myself in my room and started writing. with the aid of an old beat up les paul, the pick ups held on by gaffa tape and the fret board torn to shreds, i began to write what would become my proudest work. inspired by the brutal honesty and ethics of my heros, i wrote of love, death, depression, loneliness, happiness, self doubt, drug abuse and suicide... all of which ive seen far too much of, and all of which haunts me. four weeks passed and i had written nine songs and self recorded and released my first EP to many enthusiastic ears. my guitar and i were friends again, and a smile was on my face again and the stars were beautiful and the earth and everything. I hand made one hundred CD's to give as gifts to those who appreciated the online samples i had uploaded to this shitty myspace site. the CD's were stamped and accompanied by a hand written track listing and placed inside
