Edit history

Counting Backwards was formed in Melbourne in 2018 to bring together like-minded musicians to collaborate and raise awareness on the climate and ecological emergency. The band's first single, a song about about impermanence, the repetition of history, being bogged down in the matrix and the need to dance, was released at the end of 2019. Their follow-up, a rootsy country/folk number about the dystopian direction that society appears to be going in, was released in March 2020.
