Cranes Against Clouds is a Naarm-based indie rock group that started in 2010 as a duo featuring Ty on drums and Jasmin on guitar and vocals. In 2018 Holly joined the band to play bass and share vocals with Jazz, to give Cranes Against Clouds their unique sound. With a distinctive blend of raw energetic rock and sweet harmonies, Cranes Against Clouds can be likened to bands like The Cranberries, Magic Dirt and Alanis Morrissette. Fans of 90s alt-rock will enjoy Cranes Against Clouds’ latest single Queenie, which combines memorable lyrics and dynamic guitar riffs that will transport you back in time, evoking a sense of grungy nostalgia. With songs so robust you can bounce them off a brick wall, Cranes Against Clouds can be found on Spotify, YouTube, and in Melbourne’s inner suburbs playing live shows.
