Ascending from riverbanks Victoria-wide, Creek are four hippie-looking blokes with Telecasters, on a mission to make some noise in this world on which we all exist. Kicking things off in 2016 as a guitar-centric force, reminiscent of early 70’s southern blues rock, the band has since tweaked their sound with layers of psychedelia, folk, and prog. Renowned for their wild rhythms, soulful lyrics, and captivating guitars, it’s in the band’s framework to deliver an electrifying live experience.

With a structural foundation based in classic rock and psychedelia of the 60s, Creek are unashamedly electronic. Relentless grooves are pumped out of drum machines and synthesizers, accompanied by soaring leads and polyrhythmic arpeggios. This isn’t some nostalgia trip though, this is a concentrated dose of time-bending synths and disaffected vocals. Creek founders Colin Andrews and James Howard build up a technicolour soundscape, upon which the group’s singer, Hannah Weichman draws the listener in with her alienated vocals.
