Criatura Obscura is a neurodivergent sound artist from rural US, living in urban Brazil. Their work, shaped by synesthesia & physical sound experiences, blends shakuhachi, synths, field recordings, & toy instruments. Exploring solace in suffering & beauty in chaos, their dreamy retrofuture soundscapes intertwine with folk traditions, creating a transcendent space where the surreal & familiar meet.
