Cross Hook is the one man band adventure of Perth based multi-instrumentalist and vocal powerhouse Samuel McDonald. Synthesisers, Electronic drum beats, and powerful melodies is what Cross Hook does best. The sole member and creator of Cross Hook, Samuel McDonald, has been involved in the local music scenes in both Perth and Melbourne since late 2016. Starting off as an acoustic act, Sam felt that the only way to truly bring his songs to life was to give them a full band sound... with a huge dash of SYNTH. Cross Hook takes musical inspiration from Synth Pop legends Metronomy, Cut Copy, and Hot Chip. Cross Hook's songs will make you dance, make you cry, and lyrically tackle some heavy issues and anxieties that we all face. Look for multiple singles to be released before the end of 2023, and performances to be announced very soon.
