Crossing Edge was founded in 2010 by Sebastian and Stefan. The band didn't recruit new members until the beginning of 2011 and even a rehearsal room hadn't been found at all. After Thomas had joined in, the songwriting process started to develop and even a rehearsal room was found. A few weeks later, Berni was invited by Sebastian. He left his former band due to personal differences and so he showed up and started to sing. The band members were instantly impressed by his powerful voice and decided for him. Soon the very last bandmember, Rudi, was recruited. The band started to have frequent rehearsals and wrote a couple of songs such as "New Messiah" or "Tonight". In March 2011 they had their first gig. It was a bandcontest and they hit the 2nd place due to a lack of followers. In May 2011 they recorded the EP "SOS" at Nemesis records which featured the tracks "In Case of Emergency", "New Messiah" and "Tonight". Half a year later, lots of gigs all over Austria were done.
