Bio history
Formed in early 2003, Crucial Times got its name from the favourtie saying of a Novocastrian named 'Jacko'. The original line up consisted of Vines (Troy Viney) on guitar, Tank Forbes (Tim Eggins) on drums and Bull (Daniel Saad) on bass. The 3 founding members were relatively inexperienced musicians, Vines being an established bass player and Bull and Tank sporting little music experience. The 3 began jamming whilst living together in Westmead, starting with Foo Fighters, Chilli Peppers and Living End Covers. It was soon realised that Tank possessed the best singing voice and also that Vines can't sing and play guitar at the same time. A few months of solid jamming yeilded good results and soon we were ready too gig covers. Around a year passed and slowly original songs began appearing, some of which are still around today. Years of jamming and party/small time gigs went passed when in 2006 Crucial took on a full time Vocalist MG (Mark Graham). Mark added a new dynamic; ie 2
