Childhood best mates, Paul Davidson and Dave Williamson, initially formed Cruise Control at school with their trusty tennis racquets as instruments. Dave and Paul however soon realised the forehand crosscourt didn’t sound great after an A minor. The boys switched to guitars and abruptly realised they had stumbled across a more efficient and aurally satisfying set of strings. The Cruise Control sound is built on acoustic guitars, playful personalities and silky-smooth vocals, along with a touch of sax added in for good measure. The charismatic nature of the duo made them crowd favourites during their school days in Sydney, throughout the university colleges of Wollongong and in various pubs, bars and live music venues. After some recent time off, Cruise Control are back, bigger and bolder than ever, ready to pick up where they left off with the release of their debut single 'The Teapot Dance'. http://smarturl.it/theteapotdance
