Curious Creatures is a new Sydney-based electronic project. Emerging at the start of 2014, they combine Priscilla Gauci's soulful and playful vocals with John-Mikael Hellqvist's production, featuring electronic beats, punchy bass, sparkling synths and colourful guitars. “So Tall” is the first taste of their forthcoming EP, Talk About It. Dark bass and a crisp Little Dragon-esque beat ramp up into punchy distorted synths and a soaring, uplifting chorus. Soulful female vocals tell a tale of hope and togetherness in the face of deceit and oppression.
