Cusker is the artist project of Perth musician and producer Marcus Fulker. Inspired by artists like Tame Impala, Pearl Jam, Kyuss and Coldplay, Cusker loves to create a rocking vibe that gets the body moving and the toes-tapping. Hooky melodies, funky basslines and thought provoking lyrics are the key songwriting elements that create Cusker’s signature rock sound of freedom and adventure. After 23 years working in a completely different industry, a rebirth occurred in 2015: “This transformation was all about embracing love, and I was truly unaware of the fear and hate that was lurking inside of me up until then. This epiphany gave me the confidence to write and sing about what I was truly seeing and feeling” This resulted in the release of his debut EP in 2018 followed by 4 single releases. During 2020, Cusker took his creative productivity to the next level, writing 45 songs in 100 days. From those songs, he recorded his debut album playing all the instruments himself.
