Every sound has a unique signature that it vibrates onto the world. Cymatics (pronounced: Psy-matt-icks) is a band that is in scripting it's unique sound on the Melbourne scene. Established in early 2014, Cymatics is a dynamic four piece that inhales influences from bands like Lamb of God, Slipknot, Trivium, and Killswitch Engage and exhales them in a dynamic and diverse blend of Metalcore and Nu-metal. Alex (guitar), Dylan (vocals) and brothers Chris (drums) and Josh (guitar) have dispersed their modal phenomena on iconic venues in Melbourne like the Espy. Hungry to report on existential issues, life’s fragility and absorbing that potential is what Cymatics strives to deliver. Numbered Days, their debut release, is a song about accepting life’s mortality and cherishing the important things in life.
