Edit history

Triple threat Cyn (vocals, congas, ableton) met Ian Mussington (hybrid drum-kit) when playing with the Legendary Roots Crew in New York, 2009. Later that year Ian accompanied Cyn at the Piano Room Song Competition in Sydney, which was the beginning of the band! Rory Brown (electric & double bass) joined the band for the next 4 years of writing until the completion of Cyndi and the Drums debut album in 2013. Pre-release copies were sold for donations to buy drums for slum-kids, and start a music therapy program called Drums in Cambodia. Cyndi has just returned to Sydney after successfully empowering an entire community with a school concert, drums to keep, and trained teachers to continue the program. Truly fun and inspiring, Cyndi and the Drums make music to make a difference!
