Hailing from Brisbane, Cypher is the project of 16 yro artist Faith. Cypher "first appeared on the scene in 2013 when her track 'Liar' landed her a spot as a finalist in the Triple J Unearthed High Competition. Funnily enough the track was actually the result of a school assignment... How ever unexpected this may have been, we sure are glad she took the plunge. Her vocals are nothing short of mesmerising, and strike an incredible resemblance to that of Daughter lead singer, Elena Tonra." ~ Purple Sneakers on "Artists To Watch In 2015" "Within, she’s as sweet-spirited a demeanor as any, and with Max Byrne’s (Golden Vessel) chillwave air in and around her calm, captivating tone and ethereal electric guitar riffs, nothing but serene soundscapes result. We’ve no problems with that, of course, as the cooling sonic respite is something we absolutely crave, and we hope with utter sincerity that all looking for relaxing listens stumble upon this beauty of a track." ~ HillyDilly on "Pretend"
