With his roots firmly planted in Kuranda, far north Qld, Dave has earned a living as a full time musician since 2001. Dave cut his teeth as a resident resort musician in the first two thirds of the last decade performing regularly at ‘Ayers rock resort’ and ‘Dunk Island resort’ clocking up over 200 gigs a year, a workload which he still maintains today. The last few years have seen Dave build a strong following all over the far north region in Cairns, Kuranda, Port Douglas, Mission beach, Cooktown and Cape tribulation selling several thousand cd’s off the stage. His second self funded album 'hieroglyphs' was recorded live over two days in Kuranda,FNQ in 2010. Other highlights of 2010 included a highly successful six week tour from Port Douglas to Byron Bay to promote his second self funded album ‘Hieroglyphs’, support act for Ash Grunwald at the new amphitheatre at AJ Hackett Cairns and main stage performances at the Wallaby ck festival and the Mission beach evolve festival.
