D'cLAiMeD originaly formed sometime during 2004, which was before the band had established its name. It was during recess at TSHS that two year 9 students by the names of Brett Hobson (drums) and Robert Parker (lead guitar), decided to join together to try and form a band. Starting out with only two members Robert decided to let his little brother Alex Parker (former rhythm guitar) join the band. Jamming several times a week, and playing covers of their favourite bands at the time, their skills began to slowly grow. It was not until mid-2005 when the band realised they needed a bassist. They did not know anyone in the school who played and so of last hope, they approached a friend of theirs, Raymond Simmons. Robert and Brett knew that Raymond didn't play bass but still they asked if he would be willing to learn it and be a part of the band. Raymond accepted their offer and started taking bass lessons. Few weeks after Raymond's membership, the band established the name "D'cLAiMeD".
