Josh Dives and Disky Dee, aka D.D. Mirage represent Australia’s rising Balearic New Wave. Formed in Sydney during the pandemic, they transform their shared love of travel and global sounds into transportive, border-crossing dance music. Their sound blends disco, electro, post-punk, and street soul, all inspired by 1980s synthesiser sensibilities. Between their breakout singles and debut album Exotic Illusions, they’ve earned support from Bill Brewster, Bradley Zero, CC:Disco!, and Shy One. Now expanded to a four-piece live band, they return in December with the lovers rock single ‘Echoes’ (feat. Teddy Bryant) ahead of second album Fata Morgana (2026).
