d.flynt is the instrumental ambient-electronic solo project of Tasmanian producer Andrew Smyth. When he's not out wandering in the dark and lonely mountain ranges of southern Tasmania, Smyth is buried in his own private home studio in the Huon Valley, producing a variety of music under various pseudonyms (Smyth's other solo project is the indie/acoustic 'silvereye' - see www.triplejunearthed.com/silvereye). With d.flynt, Smyth is channelling elements of Bonobo, PVT and Boards Of Canada into his own deep, drum & synth driven version of soundtrack-tronica.
