D’Griffin is a Brisbane-based musician, who’s had an interesting journey over the past few decades. He started out playing trumpet and piano while in school, and then decided to focus on alto and soprano saxophone after leaving school. A few years later he travelled to India to undertake post-graduate studies in science, and while living in New Delhi joined a band that regularly performed at upmarket hotels around the city. Upon returning to Australia, D’Griffin has focussed on broadening his skills, and experimenting with different musical genres including pop, blues, latin and rap. In recent times D’Griffin has moved into song-writing, and adding vocals to his recordings and performances. D’Griffin currently performs live several times a month at various Brisbane venues, and is regularly releasing new songs on-line. D’Griffin’s songs are now available on most major music platforms, including Spotify, iTunes, Amazon Music and YouTube.
