Daniel Symons, the man behind D-JEONG is an electronic/experimental music composer/performer/musician who specializes in genres, such as, EDM (electronic dance music), Hip Hop, Industrial Music, Ambient Music, Noise Music and Beat Production. He graduated from WAAPA (West Australian Academy of Performing Arts) at the end of 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in Composition and Music Technology. The birth of electronic music composition began after exploring the world of Garage Band and Logic Pro. Daniel spent lots of his time on both of these workstations, playing around with loops, using midi controllers to play in melodies and experimenting with effects, which then lead to a really rough demo of what was to be his first electronic music composition. It was as simple as using a pre-made beat loop and then adding synth melodies and baselines on top though it was something special to him at the time.
