Always been a fan of rap and used to write some songs when I was younger but they were fairly basic and I stopped. Then in 2011 I took a gapyear worked and took a trip through China. I was in a group of 4 other people that I didnt know and we basically back packed through China. Although it was great I had some pretty intense moments of homesickness and missing my mates. By chance I had a couple of instrumentals on my Iphone and one night on a hard sleeper train when I was feeling retty low with some other stuff that was going on I started listening to the instrumentals and everything I was feeling at the time just came out in lyrics. Ive been writing since then and cant get enough of it. A big inspiration for me is Eminem, I love the way his lines can have up to three different interpretations depending on how you think about what hes said, lyrical genius. Thats something I really try to aspire to do, that and working on the flow. I love finding new and intricate rhyming patterns
