Dad Relax - a moniker to stick - something derived from a story of warm milk and angsty youths. Residing in Newcastle, the project is created by the musicians Louis Abell, Aidan Foster-graves, Louis Kakavas and Sarah Law. Dad Relax seeks to delve into the emotional experience by combining melodic dreamy guitar, soothing vocals and smooth keyboard with rhythmic ethereal drums, synth pads and enveloping bass lines. Dad Relax have been gracing local stages since 2014 under the guise of Republic Cucumber Magazine and supporting the likes of Gang of Youths, Husky and the Thundamentals to name a few. Oozing with passion, love and time for the music, the band reunited and rebranded in 2020.
