Daddy Matador is the bastard child of Sydney based musician/artists Lee Devaney + Dylan Fryer. In an age when everything you hear has been heard before, the intentions are pretty simple. Take a sound they like and twist it. The Daddy Matador seed was planted in 2000, and grew thanks to a dash of musical fertiliser from around the globe. Devaney grew up in the UK, spending time at an early age learning guitar and listening to bad 80s pop groups, American thrash metal bands & Britpop shoe gazers. Fryer is a born and bred Sydney graphic artist with years of heading to the Hopetoun & Hordern ass-shaking under his belt. When they met they discovered that the combination was an irresistibly good one... After years of picking at guitar strings, it was the mutual respect for electronic music that turned the two into Daddy Matador.
