Dammit Janet was formed in early 2004 after two bands competing in the same talent quest merged. The initial lineup was Stephen Tannos, Robert Sheahan, Adam Millar, Shaun Allen and Keisha Seru. The band began playing covers until their debut gig in 2005 at the Sutherland Shire Battle of the Bands, where they showcased their first set of original songs. On the back of this performance they were awarded the wildcard into the final. In January 2007 Keisha Seru left the band and was replaced by guitarist Tim Haggar. Since then, Dammit Janet has played a string of live shows, finding new fans at each one. They have also recorded four demo tracks at Music Studios 101 in Peakhurst. The band continues to impress audiences with a stunning live show, and hook ridden songs laden with catchy riffs.
