Always writing poetry from a young age, it wasn’t until Dan heard Bob Dylan for the first time that he realised that his poetry and an acoustic guitar needed to join forces. Using an open hearted approach to song writing, Dan takes the listener on a sometimes heart wrenching journey into his own private world of the highs and lows of love and loss. His music shows a man who is willing to wear his heart on his sleave for the greater good of music. Influenced Bob Dylan, Jeff Buckley, Nick Drake and Jeff Martin to name a few, he has created his own unique style, reminiscent of the singer/songwriters of the 60’s and 70’s. Dan is releasing his Debut album, “MY NEW DAY”, due for release mid 2007. He has a two month tour of Europe starting in April 2007, playing shows in Paris, Prague and London. On returning to Australia, he is planning an east coast tour playing shows in Melbourne, Wollongong, Sydney, Newcastle, and Brisbane to promote his Album release in Australia.
