Edit history

Originally hailing from Monmouth, Wales - Adelaide-based Songwriter Dan Higgins blends driving guitar tones, melodic hooks, and heartfelt lyrics to create emotionally resonant songs. Picking up the guitar in his early teens, Dan's early influences include Britpop, 2000's Alternative and Indie Rock, with healthy side of Punk. Around this time he also developed an interest in recording. Starting by recording early songs on a tape recorder, before experimenting with a much-loved 4 track portastudio. After playing in a band and recording two EPs as a teenager, Dan moved to Australia where he continued to periodically write and record as a hobby. In 2024, Dan started writing and recording more frequently. Inspired by his wife and infant daughter, Dan spent 12 months challenging himself to write and record at least one song a month. Dan spent early 2026 recording his debut album, which he's excited to release on 1st August!
