My name is Dan Ihasz. I am 24 and live in Canberra. I have enjoyed music from the earliest moments I remember. I began playing guitar at 12 years of age and haven't stopped since. I grew up listening to jazz guitarists and prog rock such as the guess who, gentle giant and yes. These bands taught me the importance of song structure, musicianship, interaction of instruments and amazing timing. I played guitar in Canberra punk band 4FT8 for 4 years. At the demise of the band at the age of 20 I began listening to other genres of music such as hip hop and world music and appreciating it for the first time. I began producing hip hop tracks at the beginning of 2007 in my bedroom studio. All tracks are created, played and produced by me. I usually play and record guitar with my thumb and fingers. I currently am working on recording some instrumental guitar work which should be ready along with a EP of electronic tracks very soon.
