Growing up in a place where the name speaks for itself - the Gold Coast - Dan Irwin had many distractions, the main culprits being waves, friends and the occasional weekend road trip. It wasn't until one weekend as a 16 year old, when the waves were small, that Dan's friend who was awesomely gifted at guitar invited him over. As soon as he walked in and saw the collection of guitars, Dan was instantly drawn to them and knew he had to conquer the instrument. One year later Dan still had just as much passion for guitar and was playing riffs and songs from artists such as Thrice, Blink 182, Jack Johnson, Parkway Drive and From First To Last. From there, he was inspired by similar artists to sing, compose and collaborate. That was 2005. Fast forward to 2012 where Dan finally found the time and money to record at a studio and release his self-titled EP. Dan now plans on conquering the local music scene by playing as many gigs as his voice and guitar strings will allow him, sharing with
