Dan Strommer is a singer/songwriter from Creswick, country Victoria. Dan has recorded his debut self titled E.P at Woodstock Studios in St.Kilda. Featuring on the E.P is bassist Andy McIvor (James Reyne, Taxi Ride), drummer Andy Sylvio (Pete Murray, Dallas Frasca) violinist Lauren Maisey and backing vocalists Christine November and Elizabeth MacFarlane. Dan looks after the guitars, piano, blues harp and vocals. The E.P was pretty much written as recording took place, without any of the players knowing what to expect. Engineer Cam Trewin was very involved in giving the E.P direction. Honest lyrics and heartfelt vocal is what drives Dan Strommer's sound.
