She may be on the youthful side of the spectrum but Dana Hassall is far from new to the music scene. Growing up on an alpaca farm in country Queensland, Australia gave Dana the perfect level of isolation to lock herself away and create. From the age of eight, Dana was already gracing audiences with her songs and performances and having started her songwriting journey so young, Dana was able to grow up with her songs. As a result, you can expect to hear a lot of life lessons, observations and the occasional love-gone-wrong story amongst her self-penned tunes. “It’s funny how a song can tell you things about your life that you didn’t realise you knew”, Dana explains. “Often I’ll figure out what the song was trying to tell me after I’ve finished writing it.
