Born and bred in Wales, Dane found music from an early age through his brother’s piano playing and singing with his Nanna (Welsh for Grandmother). Danes interest in music as a lifestyle began around the age of 16 as he delved deeper into the world of music and studied at a small collage in Wales. He began writing and playing in a UK band with which he spent two years of van sleeping, couch surfing and touring the country. After realising there is only so long you can spend with four boys playing pop rock in a small confined space Dane found his feet and with it his own unique sound. After receiving an excellent response while busking in the streets of Cardiff he recorded his first ever solo EP and as glitz and glamour as this may sound it was only made in his friends bedroom! One microphone, one guitar, a man and his tambourine –oooooshhhh! Saving his money and watching too much Animal Hospital with Rolf Harris he decided to take his music across the globe, starting in Australia.
