Daniel Burr is an unashamed, hard hitting rock singer whose lyrics are a critique of his life, embracing his experiences, the good and the bad. Daniel finds musical inspiration in artists like Marilyn Manson, Pete Burns, Freddy Mercury, Jim Morison and Bon Scott. Growing up alone in the Tasmanian foster care system, after being abandoned at 3 by both of his parents, Daniel found solace and escape in music. At age 11 he discovered writing lyrics were an outlet for the pain and frustration he felt in his life, and that he could use his words to connect with people. As a young man Daniel realised that he could make a difference to people’s lives which inspired him to pursue a career as a recording artist. A firm believer in not giving up, Daniel moved to Melbourne to follow his dream of becoming a recording artist. He is currently working on his first studio album “Invisible Youth”.
