Daniel Castledine is an alternative singer-songwriter from Perth (Boorloo), Western Australia who has been writing and performing his distinctive brand of Ambient-Folk since the release of his first EP 'Sit Beneath Cobwebs'. Castledine often refers to his sound as "Dreamo-Folk", as he pairs dreamy and atmospheric vocals with moody, emotive acoustic guitar. With a love of poetry and experimental writing, Castledine's lyrics include rich imagery that is evocative and abstract, often leaving the listener to interpret their own meaning from the songs.
