Born in Sunshine raised in the country and living in the city Daniel James is of Koorie and English descent. Daniel started playing guitar at 14 to escape the boredom that was indicative of small town life. Self taught to try and emulate his heroes, Daniel has been trying to find that place in music where the Murray River meets the Mississippi. Daniel has played in several Rock and Blues bands, usually as a hired gun, where he found his voice as an accomplished guitarist. With Koorie passion and English sensibilities Daniel's music explores his personal journey and that of those who have come before. "The Truth", his debut EP, consists totally of original material and signs the end of one journey and the beginning of another. A blend of smooth sailing rock, hard edged blues and aching ballads "The Truth" is the first step out of the darkness and into the light for Daniel James and his band.

Daniel Carison is a Melbourne artist whose work sits predominantly within the style alternative/experimental rock. Daniel is a keen and active performer who works predominantly in the area of Classical singing and Acting whilst his guitar and piano work acts as a beautiful contrast to his regular stage work and shows a fantastic amount of depth as an artist and performer. Daniel is a self-taught guitarist and pianist who plays a range of covers and original material. Daniel's sound is characterized by his deep, rich and quality vocals which put him a cut above the rest while his solo work is abstract and original. Daniel plays a number of different instruments including Guitar, Piano and Harmonica. Daniel has also writes for a number of different medias and has completed work in the past for film and symphonic orchestras.

Following his 2018 debut single ‘Caroline’, Daniel James is back with an indie rock ballad ‘Requiem’. Focusing on lyricism and storytelling, Perth singer-songwriter Daniel James delivers a track that shares the same honesty and vulnerability as his influences The War on Drugs, Bob Dylan and Neil Young.
