I started out belting Celine Dion songs in my living room and songwriting at 7, however I would fain to the likes of Spears and Aguilera from 10 years of age, till I reached 15 and learned I could gain merit points from giving classical recitals at school. This led me to university to study a bachelor of music, majoring in classical voice performance (aka Opera) and that turned into touring NZ as Christine in The Phantom of the Opera, my first paid gig. All the while I've continued writing music and performing in bands. Have since moved to Melbourne and still at it...Till the next step I can write about!
