Danny Ratta Bio Started music in high school at age 13 preferred playing guitar but was coxed into singing. Studied in Adelaide and obtained a certificate in sound engineering. Became active in a promotion and advertising company working as an engineer. At 22 I travelled overseas playing guitar piano and singing in restaurants. On my return in 1998 I formed a band it became quite successful, called U2000, of which I was the singer. Emulating one of the hardest vocal styles – Bono -. Whilst U2000 was enjoying success I started up an original punk band called “HAMMERBOY” which I was the lyric and melody writer in. Once I made that successful I went on to concentrate on more of my solo original work. During this time producing a hip-hop act named FORTIFIED LEGACY, which now have success in Queensland. Still needing a challenge I decided to go on, solo. As a solo performer I feel I have more artistic license over the sound I want, not having to rely on other people. I am influenced by
