With a background in classical music and a long enduring love for all things song, Darwin based singer songwriter Danny Ammon has been sharing his fresh, unique catalogue of Indie folk rock tunes with audiences around the country. Danny has been compared vocally to the likes of Thom York, Billy Corgan and Glen Hansard with a guitar style somewhere between James Taylor and Mumford and Sons. At age 9 Danny heard a music teacher play the flute for the first time, an event that resulted in his career as a classical flautist and study in some of the best music institutions in Europe including the Royal College of Music in London, the Graz Conservatorium of Music in Austria and the Melbourne University Conservatorium of Music.
