It has been a busy period for Danny Phegan, who continues to ride the wave of success from his ARIA chart topping debut album ‘From Where I Stand’. Fresh from The Voice Australia S11 2022, where Danny managed to win the judges’ hearts, and land a spot in Keith Urban’s team, he thoroughly stunned the judges with his performance of Niall Horan’s ‘This Town’. Danny hadn’t expected a chair to spin around and told the judges that he was simply there to throw his hat into the ring and compete. Judge Rita Ora was bewildered, when she sought to use the terms ‘fair dinkum’ in the appropriate situation, because Danny had the audience in laughter with his Australian lingo. Rita claimed that she couldn’t understand a word Danny said, however music, thankfully, is devoid of language. Farmer, horseman, publican, family man, Albury business identity and author … Danny is no stranger to hard work. From rodeo’s in Melbourne to the Northern tip, and festivals in between, he has been entertaining crowds for over twenty five years with his blend of modern country rock and classic country. Danny and his band are a hard-working outfit that get the big stages rocking and the marquees laughing.
