Darcy Lane is a Sydney-based alt-pop artist known for blending glittering pop hooks with sharp emotional honesty. Her latest single, “Pretty Clever” (out May 28), is the first taste of her upcoming debut album, due later this year, a project exploring the chaos of relationships, self-reflection, and teen nostalgia — all delivered with a tongue-in-cheek edge. Supported by the NSW Government and Create NSW, Darcy is rolling out a bold series of singles throughout 2025, each layered with sass, vulnerability, and pop culture references that hit close to home. Darcy’s previous releases have gained strong support across Triple J Unearthed, Spotify, and Apple Music, with “Aloe Vera” named Track of the Day and included in Unearthed’s 6 Pack for two months. Having supported acts like Telenova, Pacific Avenue, Eves Karydas, Aleksiah and DRAX Project, and with a growing online presence, Darcy Lane is gearing up for her biggest year yet — and “Pretty Clever” is just the beginning.
