Local Adelaide darlings Elli Cleary, Luke Brokensha and Grace Goodfellow formed a little band back in 2008. Armed with an acoustic guitar, their voices, and a couple of harmonicas, this group of three love nothing more than playing music. Once upon a time they went by the name The Three of Us, but during mid 2009, decided it didn’t really suit them anymore. Darling Street often play at The Wheatsheaf Hotel in Thebarton and it is there that they've had the opportunity to support Melbourne lovelies The Little Stevies; not once, but twice, both at sold out gigs. Darling Street play simple songs; songs about love and lust and handstands and nursery rhymes and growing up, and everything in between. They have been described as having a ‘warm, heart-felt’ sound and this is evident in many of their tracks, and even more so at a live gig.
