Darren J Matthews is a singer-songwriter based in Melbourne. Having fronted a number of Melbourne bands as both vocalist and guitarist, he has recently released his first solo album 'Lifeforce'. Lifeforce explores the search for your own voice, a personal truth. This album rocks and caresses...Cohen riding a Crazy Horse. From the opening 'I don't get up early, I just don't get sleep' on 'Run Away' to the closing lament on well-meaning advice 'careful you might wake up someone else' - there's a narrative running through every track.
