Daryl Irvine is a Brisbane based Australian singer/songwriter with a unique adult contemporary/pop/rock sound built around real instrumentation and powerful vocal ability that delivers insightful, poetic lyrics. His biggest early influences were artists such as Peter Gabriel, Pink Floyd, Tori Amos, U2 and Sting but in recent years acts such as Alt J, Ed Sheeran, Hozier etc...have all impacted on his work. His latest album, My Rainbow Girl, is a collection of songs that he wrote and self produced over the past few years. The title speaks to the elusive, ever changing vision of ones soul mate, a vision that shifts and evolves as we learn to love the idiosyncrasies of those we fall in love with and affects us long after they're gone. Daryl is also a Creative Director and Film Director and is always working on various film and music video projects including shoots for other artists down under.
